Terms of use
Last updated 31 October 2026
By using Auspex you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the site.
What Auspex is
Auspex shows public orbital data on a globe and in your sky, predicts satellite passes, and gives short answers written by a language model in a playful voice for a real satellite. The answers are entertainment. They are not facts about you, predictions of the future, or advice of any kind.
Accuracy
Positions and passes are computed from public orbital elements with a standard model. They are usually close, but elements age, satellites manoeuvre and the data can be wrong or late. Do not rely on Auspex for navigation, safety, observation planning that matters, or any decision with consequences.
Your questions and answers
- Do not ask for anything illegal, hateful, or harmful, and do not try to make the model ignore its instructions.
- Each answer gets a public link. Anyone with the link can see the question and the answer, so do not type personal information.
- You can delete an answer you asked from the same browser, or from the wallet you were signed in with.
- Answers can be wrong or odd. They come from a language model.
Limits
Free and holder question limits, the pause between questions and the daily answer budget can change at any time. Abuse can lead to blocking.
Wallets and the token
Signing in with Phantom only signs a text message. Auspex never asks for a transaction or a seed phrase. Holding $AUSPEX unlocks features on this site and nothing else. Read the risk notice before you buy anything.
No warranty
Auspex is provided as is, without any warranty. To the fullest extent the law allows, Auspex and the people behind it are not liable for any loss arising from using the site, the answers, or the token.
Third parties
Data comes from CelesTrak and The Space Devs, and links lead to other sites. Their terms apply to their services.
Changes
These terms can change. The date at the top shows the latest version. Using the site after a change means you accept it.
